BAIDO (Bay Area International Development Organizations)

As the network of San Francisco Bay Area nonprofits doing international development work, BAIDO promotes understanding of the challenges facing people globally - and the solutions we are creating.

The BAIDO website features news and perspectives concerning their work with partner communities in developing countries. Topics covered include economics, education, environment, health and human rights. The goal is to spark discussion that leads to action for a more equitable and sustainable world. The new video, Joining the Global Village, gives a quick overview of BAIDO
and is also on the website.

BAIDO's 61 member organizations involve thousands of people in Northern California in a larger BAIDO community, and touch the lives of millions of others in developing countries.
